Inspiring Others / Inspiring Self

November 16, 2011 By Emma

I’ll let you into a little secret.

Sometimes when I am sharing things I think will inspire others, I am actually working on inspiring my own self.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t (immediately).

Sometimes it would be easier to do nothing, but that is the easy way out.

Somedays it feels hypocritical to share inspiration when I am not feeling so bright and cheery. These are the days that I think it is extra important to do so.

I keep on sharing knowing that eventually it will all work out and the sharing karma and good feeling will come back around.

Today I was sent a link to some text and photographs with a relaxing soundtrack.

This proved to be the little dose of sanctuary and peace that I secretly needed and did get me inspired.

I am grateful. Thank you.

Do you ever share inspiration with others to inspire yourself?
